With over a decade of experience teaching and researching psychology at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Lisa is now in private practice to fully utilise her expertise. She works with clients across all ages, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns, including Depression, Anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and ADHD. Lisa also provides support through life challenges like stress, burnout, grief, relationship breakdowns, and psychosocial issues such as self-esteem and social difficulties.

Lisa has a special interest in supporting women through key life transitions—whether it's navigating motherhood, fostering relationships with young adult children, or managing menopause. Her holistic approach tailors treatment to each individual’s needs, incorporating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), experiential, creative, and body-centred techniques. She also has growing interest in the therapeutic benefits of natural environments on mental health.

Known for her warm, down-to-earth manner, Lisa creates a safe, supportive space and builds strong, collaborative relationships with clients and their families. Her approach emphasises uncovering and using personal strengths and fostering long-term wellbeing.

Lisa provides therapy for private/Medicare clients and clients with NDIS funding.

To relax, Lisa enjoys swimming, sculpting with clay, and exploring nearby forest trails.
